1. About ValuDex
ValuDex is a sole trader business registered in England. ValuDex is an independent UK-based platform providing Pokémon TCG market data, pricing information, and portfolio tracking tools. ValuDex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., The Pokémon Company, eBay Inc., or any grading companies (PSA, BGS, CGC, ACE, TAG, AGS, or others).

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ValuDex. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. What ValuDex Does
ValuDex provides:
- Portfolio tracking for Pokémon Trading Card Game cards
- Pricing data derived from publicly available UK eBay sold listings
- Market indices and analytics including the VTMI, VUCI, VGCI, VPCI, VAGCI, and VCCI indices
- A Fear & Greed sentiment index for the UK Pokémon TCG market
- A card scanner powered by AI image recognition
- Search and card database functionality
Important: All pricing data is provided for informational purposes only. Pricing information is derived from publicly available third-party marketplace data and is not officially licensed, endorsed, or provided by eBay or any other marketplace. ValuDex makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pricing information. Prices are estimates based on historical sold data and may not reflect current market conditions. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial advice.

ValuDex offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription.

Fair Usage
Unlimited features are provided subject to fair and personal use. We reserve the right to suspend or limit access to any account that generates unusually high or automated usage volumes that place unreasonable load on our systems or third-party services, including the card scanner. We will contact you before taking action where possible.
Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform. Payments are processed by Apple or Google — ValuDex does not handle payment card details directly.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Refunds are handled in accordance with the Apple App Store or Google Play refund policies. ValuDex does not issue refunds directly.
Changes to Features and Pricing
We may change the features available on any plan, or adjust pricing, at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after a pricing change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
6. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property
All data, indices, analysis, methodologies, and content produced by ValuDex — including but not limited to the VTMI, VUCI, VGCI, VPCI, VAGCI, VCCI indices and any Fear & Greed sentiment data — are the proprietary intellectual property of ValuDex. This includes:
- The ValuDex index methodology and naming conventions
- All processed and aggregated market data displayed on this platform
- The smart filtering pipeline and its outputs
- All charts, visualisations, and derived statistics
- The ValuDex brand, logo, and associated trademarks
- All content, software, and design within the app and website
Raw eBay listing data remains the property of eBay and respective sellers. ValuDex claims ownership over its processed, filtered, and aggregated outputs derived from that data.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
7. Acceptable Use
You may use ValuDex and its market data for personal, non-commercial research and reference purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from ValuDex using automated tools, bots, or scripts
- Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute ValuDex index data, charts, or derived statistics on any other platform, website, application, or service
- Use ValuDex data to build a competing product, service, or index
- Sell, licence, or commercially exploit ValuDex data in any form
- Attempt to circumvent any subscription or access restrictions
- Share your account credentials with others
- Generate excessive or abusive usage that disrupts the Service for other users
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abusive, high-volume, or harmful usage without notice where necessary to protect the Service.
8. API & Technical Access
Any API keys, endpoints, or technical access methods used by the ValuDex platform are provided solely for the operation of the ValuDex service. Reverse engineering, extracting, or reusing these credentials or endpoints for any other purpose is strictly prohibited and may constitute a violation of the Computer Misuse Act 1990 (UK).
ValuDex reserves the right to revoke access, block requests, or take legal action against any party found to be abusing technical access to its platform.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described there.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that pricing data will be accurate. ValuDex does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform or its data. Use the Service at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ValuDex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any losses arising from reliance on pricing data. ValuDex accepts no liability for any losses or decisions made based on information provided on this platform.

Pokémon and all related names, characters, and indicia are trademarks of Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., and The Pokémon Company. eBay is a trademark of eBay Inc. PSA, BGS, CGC, ACE, TAG, AGS, and all grading company names are trademarks of their respective owners. All third-party trademarks are referenced for descriptive purposes only and do not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last updated.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of the ValuDex platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
